Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated November 5, 2026
Eidolune respects intellectual-property rights and reviews specific reports about material displayed on the service. This draft explains how to submit a notice; it does not determine ownership or replace legal advice.
1. Copyright ownership
Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective owners. A prompt, image, creator credit, or source link on Eidolune may be user-submitted or third-party material. Display on the site does not mean Eidolune owns it or that a commercial license has been granted.
If you submit material, you must have the rights and permissions needed to do so. The limited permission to host and display submissions is described in the Terms of Service.
2. Reporting copyright infringement
A rights holder or authorized representative may send a copyright complaint through the contact form. Mark the subject or first line "Copyright / DMCA notice" and include the information below. Do not send account passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of an authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact Eidolune page URL and enough detail to locate each challenged item.
- Your name and a reliable email address for follow-up; include a postal address or phone number only if needed for the procedure you invoke.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury where required, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
3. Review and counter-notifications
We may request clarification, restrict access to reported material while reviewing it, remove material, or take no action if a notice is incomplete or unsupported. We may forward a notice to the submitter when appropriate and lawful.
If content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake, contact us through /contact and mark the message "Copyright counter-notification." Where the U.S. DMCA counter-notification process applies, a counter-notice generally must include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), including a signature, identification and prior location of the material, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, and the required jurisdiction and service-of-process statements. Seek legal advice before submitting one.
4. Repeat infringement
We may restrict or terminate accounts and remove content when a user repeatedly infringes or repeatedly submits material they are not authorized to use. We assess reports and context before taking action and may preserve information where legally required.
5. Copyright contact and missing legal details
Use the contact form and identify the message as a copyright complaint. Eidolune does not currently publish a designated DMCA agent, dedicated copyright email, or legal mailing address. Do not treat this contact form as a registered DMCA agent address. Before relying on U.S. DMCA safe-harbor procedures, the operator must verify and publish any required legal entity and agent designation details.
This is an implementation draft and must be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before publication or reliance.
